Planning your visit
- Do we climb to the Rinjani summit?
- No — this is a day trek through the foothills and waterfalls, with a viewpoint toward the crater rim. It's the best of Rinjani without a 2-day expedition.
- Can we swim at the waterfalls?
- Yes — Tiu Kelep has a beautiful jungle pool where you can swim under the falls. Bring swimwear and a change of clothes.
- How fit do I need to be?
- Moderate fitness is enough: expect 3–4 hours of walking on jungle paths and steps, with plenty of rest stops. Trekking poles are provided.
