Is Pink Beach really pink?

Yes — crushed red coral gives the sand a pink hue, strongest in morning light. It's also the best snorkeling stop of the day, and gear is included.

Can beginners swim at these beaches?

Selong Belanak and Mawun are calm, shallow bays that are perfect for swimming. Mawi is a surf break — better for watching the pros.

You'll pass local warungs at Selong Belanak and Tanjung Aan with fresh grilled fish and Indonesian dishes at local prices.
